NOMINT is an award-winning animation production company that directs, designs and produces commercial and non-commercial work. Out of our offices in Athens and London, our team of directors, designers and producers collaborate with a broad range of clients in the advertising, broadcasting and entertainment industries worldwide.

Our work philosophy has always been built around relationships that last. We believe that great quality of work always goes hand in hand with strong collaborations which evolve beyond the confines of a single project. It always works better this way and it is much more rewarding.

NOMINT is also known for its content based in-house work. Its short films like “The Holy Chicken of Life and Music” have been screened at more than 100 festivals all over the world, including Annecy, Slamdance, Clermont Ferrand, Fantastic Fest, Onedotzero, Pictoplasma, F5 and the London Short Film festival.

In its 6 years of presence NOMINT has been repeatedly awarded for its creativity. Most notably with two gold iF design awards, two Golden European Design awards and an ADC Young Guns award.

NOMINT’s work has been featured in the Creative Review, Motionographer, Stash Magazine and also in notable non-industry publications like Wired magazine’s Underwire, the Washington Post and the New York Times. It’s directors are regularly invited to talk conferences like Pictoplasma Berlin, Cut&Paste,TED-X Athens and Panorama of Greek design.

The story begins in 2006 when Yannis Konstantinidis and Christos Lefakis friends and collegues from architecture school in UCL London reunite in Athens and create NOMINT. In the years that follow, the studio will grow into the leading commercial animation production house of Greece with a growing international client base and numerous international awards under its belt.

Today the NOMINT family is an interdisciplinary team comprised of directors, designers, animators and producers all with the same clear vision: to constantly reinvent themselves and always do bigger and better! Alongside the core team there is a broad network of specialized collaborators bringing on board their expertise.

But commercial work is half the story. NOMINT’s content based short films like the “Holy Chicken of Life and Music” and “Mahahula, the Giant Rodent of Hapiness” have been screened at more than 100 festivals around the world, including Annecy, LIAF, Clermont Ferrand, Nashville, Aspen, Fantasporto, Onedotzero, Pictoplasma, and F5.

In 2010 NOMINT received an ADC Young Guns award. A few days later,“The Holy Chicken of Life and Music”, was awarded the experimental category Vimeo Community Award in the New York held Vimeo Awards. The short was later featured in the Best of Stash 2010 selection.

In 2012, after having successfully completed over 100 commercial projects, Nomint opens a brand new office in London, bolstering its presence in the UK and extending its global market reach even further.
